Well, here we start off this year's holiday blog.
The basic plan is to visit the Netherlands, France and then a Baltic cruise visiting Stockholm, Helsinki, St Petersburg, Tallinn and a couple of ports in Germany.
Sadly John can only be away for 4 weeks, so Ann will be heading off on Monday May 21st and John will follow on June 15th.
Ann and her cousin Marie-Louise have a long weekend in Bath booked for a week after Ann arrives in Holland. Then Ann will travel, with Marie-Louise and Boudewijn (husband) to Normandy in France, then to Brittany. John will join up there and we all head North along the Loire Valley ending up in Paris. From there Ann and John will fly to Copenhagen where we will spend a few days. Our good friends Mary, Chas, Linda and Jeff will all be joining us there before we board the cruise ship. Immediately after the cruise we fly home.
